Since our inception in 1985, our strategy is focused predominantly
on returning profits to the eye-care sector; helping the eye-care
professional combat ever-increasing inroads being made into
the contact lens aftercare market by the pharmacy retail sector,
and the prevalent availability of contact lenses and solutions
on the internet.
This strategy of returning profits to the optical profession
and adapting rapidly to market changes has proved to be most
successful and, over the last few years, helped our turnover
outside of the UK market more than double. In Sauflon’s
view, the returning of profits to the optical profession is
wholly justified, since it is the optical profession who generate
the business in the first place.
Year on year sales and the company’s future growth will
most certainly be derived from the international market, and
our current global trading position paints a most positive outlook.

lens aftercare products.
• Facilities house for contact lenses and solution packages,
delivered directly to the practice or to the patient’s
home or place of work on behalf of the eye care professional,
optician or group.
